Alessandro Damiani is a catastrophe risk modeller at RED, joining the company in late 2021.
He obtained his BSc (2019) in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Pavia (Italy), and he is about to complete the MSc programme in Earthquake Engineering (ROSE – Reduction Of Seismic Risk curriculum) at IUSS (School of Advanced Studies) and University of Pavia (Italy) with full marks.
He is currently working on his master thesis project, with focus on the impact and propagation of uncertainties in seismic risk assessment models for portfolios of buildings.
